We recognize that individuals do not necessarily need to be a school counselor to support and advance the profession, which is why we encourage our members to nominate for Supervisor/Administrator of the Year. Individuals who have shown exemplary support of school counseling services, outstanding promotion of school counseling services, implementation of new/additional school counseling services and/or improvement of existing school counseling services are excellent candidates for these awards.
The Supervisor of the Year Award recognizes an administrator, coordinator, director or supervisor whose leadership has shown outstanding support and impact in the school counseling field on a local, state, or national level.
Nominations for the 2021 award are now closed. Nominations for 2022 will open in the fall of 2021.
The activity or accomplishment of the supervisor / administrator for whom the nomination is made must have occurred within the last five years.
Membership in AzSCA is desired, but not required for the Supervisor / Administrator of the Year Award.
Nominees must complete an application by the deadline to be considered for the award.
Nominations are due January 15, 2021.
Nominees must complete the application by February 8, 2021.
