It’s time to begin thinking about possible candidates for the 2013 AzSCA, Inc. elections. Your leadership in developing and encouraging strong leaders to step-up and become candidates for state office is vital. Please help AzSCA by considering seeking an elected office and by actively encouraging and recruiting talented individuals in your region. AzSCA is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

• President Elect-Elect - 2013-2017
• Secretary - 2013-2015
• Elementary Vice President - 2013-2015
• High School Vice President - 2013-2015

 Duties & Responsibilities Of Elected Offices

AzSCA has made some tremendous changes in recent years, and the Governing Board is taking an active role in leading the association through this growth. We need leaders with the energy and vision to help AzSCA aspire to new heights during the next phase of the organization. AzSCA will continue to promote the profession of school counseling while providing individual school counselors with the resources, research, best practices and professional development to help them be more effective every day. Ultimately, AzSCA’s efforts will result in greater benefits to students.

Applications must be received by February 1, 2013 to be considered for the 2013 elections. The elections will be conducted electronically, and applications can be submitted by using the link below. Voting will be conducted electronically as well and voting information will be emailed to AzSCA members during April. Elected board members will be expected to begin serving in June 2013.
