Arizona College Fair Week is scheduled from Sunday, October 13 through Tuesday, October 22.
In its seventh year of inception, the Arizona College Fair Week was created with the intent of unifying the various college fairs across our state. For many students, attending a college fair is the first step in the college selection process and for others this might be the only opportunity for them to speak with a representative of that college due to financial travel restraints their family may have.
As a school counselor, consider taking a group of students to a fair closest to your school. Send the Save the Date Flyer for the Arizona College Fair Week out in your counseling or school newsletter. Make daily announcements or use the college fair as an assignment for one of your guidance lessons. Whatever you choose to do at your school, promote attending a college fair to all of your students. The benefits of attending are countless.
College fairs are open to all students, the best way for students to be prepared for college is to get started early.
